What we collect

  • Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, phone number and UK delivery address.
  • Tag details: your business name; what your tag should open (a Google review link or business location, a social, review or other web address, or Wi-Fi details); your design brief, card text, and any artwork or logo you upload.
  • Wi-Fi tags only: your network name, security type and password. Our team uses them to program the tag, and we delete the password when your order ships.
  • Enquiries: the name, email address, phone number, business name, website and message you send us through our contact or service forms.
  • Link visits: each tag opens a short link on our website. We count visits by day and by tap or scan to show you your totals; we do not store IP addresses, devices or anything that identifies a visitor.
  • Order details: what you ordered, prices, payment and delivery status, and notes you add.
  • Basic technical data needed to run the site securely, such as IP addresses used briefly to prevent abuse.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We only receive confirmation that a payment was made.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To perform our contract with you: taking payment, making and programming your card, verifying the correct review page, delivering your order and contacting you about it.
  • Legal obligation: keeping accounting and tax records.
  • Legitimate interests: preventing fraud and keeping the website secure.

We don’t sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

  • Stripe, to process your payment.
  • Royal Mail or our courier, who receive your name and delivery address to deliver your order.
  • Our website hosting and database providers, who process data on our behalf under contract.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.

Order tracking links

Your private tracking link shows your order number, items, total and delivery status, never your address, phone number, email or uploaded files. Anyone with the link can see that summary, so only share it with people you trust.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for six years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK tax law requires. Uploaded artwork and logos are deleted once they’re no longer needed for your order or any reprint you ask for. Enquiries are kept for as long as we need to deal with them, then deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected, ask for it to be erased or restricted, object to certain uses, and receive it in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details above or on our contact page. We’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work: one to show your order confirmation after checkout, and, for store staff, a sign-in cookie. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies.
