Your order and our contract

When you pay at checkout you make an offer to buy. Our contract starts when we confirm your order by email or on your order page. We may decline an order (for example if we can’t verify the review page, the details appear fraudulent, or an item is unavailable), and if we do, we’ll refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). The total, including any design fee and the delivery charge, is shown before you pay. Payment is taken by card through Stripe when you place your order.

Your review link and content

  • You confirm you’re authorised to order a card for the business you name.
  • We program your card only after verifying the review link. If your Google Business Profile changes later, the card may need reprogramming or replacing.
  • You confirm you have the right to use any logo or text you send us, and that it isn’t unlawful or misleading.

Custom designs

Previews on our website are illustrative. For custom-designed cards we’ll confirm the final layout with you before printing. Small colour differences between screens and printed cards are normal.

Cancelling your order

Every card is made to your specification (printed with your business details and programmed with your review link), so the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once we’ve started making it. You can still cancel for a full refund any time before production starts: contact us as soon as possible. These terms don’t affect your statutory rights.

If you’re buying for your business rather than as a consumer, consumer cancellation rights don’t apply, but we’ll still refund orders cancelled before production starts.

Faulty cards

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If your card is faulty or damaged, or opens the wrong page because of our error, tell us and we’ll replace or refund it. See our Shipping & Returns Policy.

What the card does and doesn’t do

The card opens your review page on phones that support NFC, and via its QR code on phones that can scan one. Not every phone supports NFC, and behaviour can vary by device and settings. We can’t promise any number of reviews or any rating: your customers choose freely whether and what to post.

Google’s review policies apply to how you ask for reviews: for example, don’t offer incentives for reviews or only ask happy customers. Tap For Review is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Our responsibility to you

If we fail to meet these terms, we’re responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach, up to the price you paid for the order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. We aren’t responsible for business losses such as lost profits or lost opportunities.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. Please contact us first. Most problems can be resolved quickly.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
